COLLIN HEMANN

I am extremely excited to be coming on staff with Minnesota FCA in the North Metro area of the Twin Cities. I have recently graduated from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul where I was a 2x Men’s Tennis Captain and help lead the team to the three best records in program history, including one National Tournament appearance. 

Faith and sports have always been a large part of my life, but it was never really until joining FCA in high school that I knew that you could combine the two. In Mark 16:15 it says, “And then he told them, ‘Go into the world and preach the Good News to everyone.’”. With the use of athletics, FCA wants to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. 

By joining FCA I am easily able to combine my love for faith and sports into the work I do every day. Romans 12:5 says, “so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” I believe that through the use of sports, we are able to bring athletes together no matter their gender, race, economic background, or abilities.
