DEREK THOMPSON

“Derek grew up in Cold Spring, MN where he attended Rocori High School. He grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball. Derek played college basketball at Bemidji State University for 5 years and earned a master’s in business. God saved Derek in college, and he started serving the Lord through FCA at his college. After graduating, he felt a calling to join staff with FCA to continue building God’s kingdom through the ministry of FCA.

Derek is the area representative for the Bemidji MN area. He works with volunteers and coaches to equip them for ministry through FCA. He sees the incredible value of bringing the gospel to public schools through God’s word and has a desire to see young students saved by Jesus and live to glorify God in their sport and all they do.”
