JOHN CONWAY

John Conway is originally from Waseca and continues to reside there. He joined the FCA team in high school while competing in football, basketball and baseball for the Bluejays, graduating in 1977. He also played two seasons of small college basketball, one with the University of Minnesota – Waseca Rams, and one with the Calvary Bible College Warriors (KC). 

John began his relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ while attending FCA in high school and then became a volunteer for FCA camps and huddles. Before joining FCA staff vocationally in 2007, “Johnway” served as Community Education Recreation Supervisor for four years, and Associate Pastor of Youth Discipleship at a local church for 17 years. During that time he also coached Jr. and Sr. High sports, officiated games, and continued to volunteer with FCA. 

“It’s not whether you win or lose, or even how you play the game…but who you’re playing for!” (Colossians 3:23) He currently serves as South Central Minnesota Area Representative.
