TIM ELROD

Tim is from Prairie City, Iowa, and now lives in Elk River. He played basketball and ran track in high school and played basketball in college. He has coached both football and basketball. He served as a youth pastor, church planter and senior pastor, and at a local Christian college for 30 years before coming on staff with FCA in 2020.

 

God called Tim to the ministry of FCA through a series of events. When he was in college, he traveled around the world with Sports Ambassadors where he witnessed God using the platform of sports to spread the Gospel. God has continued to give Tim opportunities to mix his passion to share Jesus with the sports world. He is excited to be part of a team that wants to reach coaches and athletes with the hope of Jesus and to see those coaches and athletes then disciple others.
