Tom Ness is originally from Fergus Falls, Minnesota, but currently lives in Dayton. His history with sports goes back to his youth - he played hockey, tennis, and ran cross country. He has gone on to coach over 60 teams ranging from the youth level to high school in basketball, soccer, and tennis.
He served in youth ministry and as pastor of churches for over 20 years, then God opened up the opportunity to serve for three years as FCA Area Director for the Central Lakes area, which has led him to his current role as State Director. He leads, supports, and equips field staff to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the state. He is married to his wife Julie and they have three children: Ryan, Erin, and Rachel.
