Dear Athletic Director

I see you

The one making sure the new scoreboard works 

The one listening to every coach, athlete, and parent

The one fielding the negative and positive

The one running the program

The one who goes unnoticed

The one who takes the heat 

The one who holds it all together

The one leading your athletes

The one calling the plays

The one creating the plays

The one staying up late nights

The one watching films

The one eating cold dinner

The one missing family time

The one walking beside your athletes

Dear Athlete

I see you

The one playing just to be with friends

The one playing just to win

The ones playing to have something to do

The one who starts

The one who sits the bench

The one who does it for their parents

The ones who don’t even know why they are there

The ones who do it for the love of the sport

The one who does it to have a safe place

We see you

The one who adjusts your schedule

The one who washes the uniform

The one who gets them to practice

The one who cheers for them 

The one who comforts 

The one who encourages 

The one who listens

The one who loves
