Michelle Backes was introduced to FCA in high school - her dad was her huddle leader. She went on to play college basketball and softball at St. Olaf and joined FCA there. She taught and coached at Eagan High School right after college and also led the FCA huddle there.
She has been serving with FCA as a chaplain for the WNBA MN Lynx since 1999 and has a passion for working with teams, female coaches and athletes.
Michelle is passionate about telling others about Jesus and encouraging and empowering anyone God places in her path. She lives in Lindstrom, Minnesota with her husband Ron, who is also on staff with FCA, and their two children.
