"FCA is an amazing ministry. It's not just a summer job to earn some money. You are literally changing the eternity of some children. There's no better thing that you'd want to spend you time on."
"It was honestly the best summer of my life, and I’ve had some great summers. The magnitude of the impact that it had speaks volumes, and it was fun. FCA didn’t feel like a job. It was my fun time. It was fun but meaningful. I knew I was digging into my spiritual life and doing what God has called us as Christians to do. I honestly think there isn’t a better thing to do with our summers than what God is calling you to."
"I think my favorite part [of the FCA internship] is the community that's built with the interns. Some of them are honestly people that I go to and say, 'hey this is going on in my life, I want to share this with you,' because I trust that they'll pray about it and bring it to God which is the safest place that it can be."
"Two of the girls in my camp huddle said yes to Jesus for the first time this week! It was really cool to watch their understanding deepen as the week went on and they became more comfortable sharing their thoughts, ideas, feelings, and questions. This was also a highlight ministry experience for me as this was the first time I have had the opportunity to walk someone all the way through the Gospel to the end point of accepting Christ."
